Howdy everyone!
Another busy week here in Hooserville. We are headed out the door to watch Jordin cheer at a basketball game, Skyler has Parent teacher's and of course it is the end of the month so I am in the end of the month rush at work. Fewww..... Makes everything seem a little more hectic.
Update on Lane's shoulder injury: Out for the next 2 weeks. Coach is hoping if he sits out and lets it rest for the next couple of weeks he will be healed enough to compete in the Basin championships on February 6th. We'll see.

So, here we are everyone! Enjoy. I have beautiful kids and a beautiful life. I will post new pictures to this soon and keep it updated. My camera was stolen at one of Lane's games
:( Unfortunately this means we lost a lot of the most current photos. Luckily my husband spoiled me with a new camera for Christmas, picture updates coming soon!

Things are busy here as usual! Lane is in full wrestling mode right now. He is struggling a bit this year getting used to the 7 extra inches of height (with a 25 lb. weight loss), he can't quite get his body to do what he wants it to. I imagine he'll grow into it. At 6'1'' and 127 lbs. he looks very much like a streched version of that little 4 lb. 3 oz. 19'' baby I brought home 7 weeks early from the hospital. Well, except for all that hair on his chin. I can't believe I have a kid that is shaving! Lane hurt his shoulder in last weeks tournament. We are waiting to here whether his season is ended or if he can continue to Wrestle. He has always been a little on the shy side, so I was hoping that he would continue to be to shy to care about girls....... I fear the problem is not that Lane has discovered girls but that the girls have discovered Lane. Grrrrrrr! That's ok. My little smarty pants will just start a debate with them about politics or religion and scare them away! He takes after Grandpa Bardsley. I am so proud!

So- Let's talk about my Jordin. What can I say. I keep trying to convince her to chop off all her hair, dye it orange, and wear her brothers clothes........ but alas, she won't concent. Much as I try to convince her that overly large butt cheeks and fat rolls are in style, she won't believe it. :) She's a looker that one, AND she knows it. For some reason, all of Lane's friends want to hang out at our house all the time????? What to do. BUY BIGGER GUNS? Any suggestions are welcome. I would like to keep her young for just a while longer.
Jord is the cheerleader extraorrdinaire; However, (luckily) she is anti drama, and as you can well imagine, when twelve 13 yr old girls get together, there is bound to be drama. She is not sure that she wants to cheer next year. The current bribe for her to do it is a shopping trip to PARIS. If that won't do it, I give up! My moody one. She is so fun and brings a lot of laughter into our house. My favorite Jordie quote: " HA HA~wait~WHAT?" (her current text signature). Are you sure it is illegal to chian your children to their bedposts? It seems unfair to the rest of the world to let her run loose. :) I'm sure the mom's of all the smitten boys would agree.

And last but not least, my (not so) little Skyler. She is going to be tall like Lane. She is almost as tall as Jordin. I remember thinking she was the hardest baby. Always fussy, and demanding...... Now? She is the biggest sweetheart in the house. She is the spitting image of her Grandma Caren and never gives us a bit of trouble or sass (unlike the two teenagers running around here). She struggles with her learning diability to learn the things that we all take for granted, but NEVER gets upset or complains. When she gets discouraged that she cannot learn things the way other kids do, she just builds a big strong bridge and gets over it! She is smiling and working twice as hard the next day. She is a good example for me and all of us that get caught up in the trivalities of everyday life. Ahh, to be young and trusting again. She is my baby. I wish I could keep her little forever.

So there you have it! You have all been updated. I'm out!
Love you all, miss you.
